I haven’t been posting for awhile. It has been a quite a busy month for me. June wouldn’t be any different. It’s going to be quite a hectic and interesting month! So what has gone on and what is to come?
For the month of May that past, I signed up for the AirKu water vending franchise business. It wasn’t cheap but the possibility of an average passive income of RM1000+ a month seems quite a reasonably return for the investment. In comparison with the purchase of properties, this return is so much better and not so taxing on your cash flow. (more…)

After hacking at the codes for a week now, I managed to get the PHPlist for the “SoHo Home Business Newsletter†sign up form working on the homepage of the website. Building a website from the ground up sure requires lots of effort, but it is well worth it when you have the satisfaction of seeing it work after hacking at it night after night. It took awhile to figure out the PHPlist interface and it requires lots of checking through the forum pages to see if anyone faces the same problem. Apparently so, because the thread was pretty long and it takes a while to read through all the myriad suggestion and problems faced by users trying to customize PHPlist according to their needs. Starting a new website from scratch is not so easy, especially if one has not done it before! Previously I was using the SiteSell which provided many tools and features to start a website without requiring much knowledge. But I find that I needed more control as to how a website should be designed and managed. So on starting this new website with a new theme, I’m like a complete newbie. Even now I’m still scratching my head as to how to incorporate and implement an opt-in newsletter.
