We were on the way to A.Setar for wedding reception photo shoot but had a detour to tambun to have seafood dinner at this batu kawan seafood restaurant. It was quite far into vilage area. The food was cheap n of course they have uncommon seafood to try. price was reasonable. Cheers!
Boy was he long winded but his analysis was pretty spot on. My dad in law seem to have a host of ailments that required holistic treatment. The only problem was to what extent can my dad in law will follow the advise given. The discussion took a whopping 4 hours!
More practice. Only 2 more left b4 the actual vbs day. If they need a photographer, I'm it. But on last day I wonder how to take photo coz we will end up in water park. Hmmm…

What have I been up to lately? Well for starters I got sick. Seriously, must be the running around all day long with suppliers, not drinking enough water and then later in the evening enjoying Japanese shabu-shabu with Kirin beer and Japanese Sake. And well, I got a bit of a sore throat and running nose now. May be a mild one, but the medicine made me drowsy. Oh well… one of those days.
Still with all the running around, I managed to clean up my homepage. Wrote up some articles for my travel destination website and of course trying to start up another web site about photography. Phew! Lots of writing to do. Already I see some visitors trickling in and one already left a comment on my site! Still got a lot more work to do before the site could become useful enough to draw the hoards. Yep, I'm using the SBI method. It sure works.

Once in awhile I bump into people who face very unreasonable superiors. Today I met one young chap who was trying to sell his company warehousing services. he was quite stress about his current working situation. I know how he felt because I was in the shoe previously and know of the unreasonable demands place on him. An unappreciative boss makes one very lethargic, with no energy to pull yourself out from yr bed in the morning and face the devil in the office. At nite you can't sleep n u spend many a free time worrying about what yr boss wud say n of course reprimands even for a job well done. Life can become very meaningless. If there is a chance to switch job it shd be taken. But with the current economic downturn well one must still take chance for a happier working life. We all want freedom. Freedom in life, freedom in work. But to take the step of financial freedom is quite a big step. Not easy to do, but it must be done because nowadays companies don't care about employee welfare. All they care is their bottom line leaving us small fries to fend off on our own.
Finally it was done. Having used the 301 redirect for those web pages created in Drupal to this WordPress websites, I could safely uninstall my Drupal installation. (more…)
I just about had it with Microsoft Word 2007. Even after using the regedit fix by deleting the data and options in the HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Microsoft/Office/12.0/Word of the registry files, Microsoft Word 2007 still crashes whenever I started it up. It took many frustrating tries to force that program to start up properly. (more…)
It was time to go home. it was dusk with a bit of drizzle. Traffic was heavy as usual. Though I'm seeing this same scene every time I made my home, sometimes the sunset is spectacular and helps to sooth the weary soul.
