Interesting maths

Received this in my inbox. Intriguing. Looked like some mathematician has too much time in his hands. Nevertheless, still quite fun. Just grab yourself a calculator and follow the instruction. Have fun!

1. Use a calculator and key in your first 3 digits of your handphone number (9##)
2. Multiply this 3 digits by 80
3. Add 1
4. Multiply by 250
5. Add the last four digits of your handphone number
6. Add again the last four digits of your handphone number
7. Deduct 250
8. Divide by 2

In the end, what number did you get…?

…Have a nice day….
