Finally fixed my website. After a long while evaluating which CMS to use, I’ve decided to go with Joomla. It has its advantages and disadvantages. And one of them is the URL which is not so SEO friendly. But I have encountered several websites where the URL isn’t SEO friendly and worse, they use the gibberish version instead of SEF URL. Joomla SMF forum installation guide

I’ve come across several website where they have integrated Joomla with SMF (Simple Machine Forum). I thought it would be nice to have the two programs together thereby having a same overall look and feel theme when you make your own website. It turns out to be not so difficult to do though initially I had to scratch my head pretty hard to get it working. There were much information out there in the internet but most of the explanation were very general and left me wondering what I did wrong when I followed their steps and instruction. (more…)

Joomla Content Management System Installed

Phew! Just completed installing the Joomla Content Management System (CMS) onto my root directory. Installation was a breeze as it came with the hosting company. Just go to the Fantastico icon and choose the mySQL program that you want to install. Follow a few simple steps and that’s it! You are done!
