Western Digital My Book External Hard Drive

Having switched over to using digital SLR photography, the amount of storage space required for storing and backing up RAW files jumped up tremendously! I had considered various options for data backup, but in the end settled on using the bulkier Western Digital My Book external hard drive instead.

Solved my Office Word 2007 crashing

I always wondered why whenever I start up the Office Word 2007 in Windows Vista and before it could run, it just turn sickly pale and then died by crashing. I have to start it up several times before it finally stabilizes. Very irritating and left me to contemplate using the alternative from Open Office.

For the previous incarnation of Windows, you could use the little powertoys called tweakui provided by Microsoft to tweak your system including the autologin feature. It helped automate your startup process and frees up your time to do something else like mix a cup of coffee while the computer boots up.

PCMCIA PC Cards and adapter

One thing about technological progress, your legacy devices will no longer work with the ever newer hardware incorporated with the new computers. Take for instance the PCMCIA PC Card, the new laptops do not support them anymore. They have come up with a new type of PC Card slot called the ExpressCard.
