Some people suggested removing password altogether to avoid having to login with a password. But what if in a networked environment where you want other colleague to login with a password to your shared folders so as to limit the number of people you would like to have access to your shared folders?<\/p>\n
So here’s a little neat trick to make Windows login automatically. It is so simple to do I guess the programmers just never bothered to come up with any power toys just for this function. To enable the auto login just follow the below steps. And voila! The whole boot up process now transit from startup to the desktop without having to pause and wait for you to key in your login password.<\/p>\n

For Windows Vista:<\/p>\n

- Click Start\n
- Type netplwiz<\/strong><\/span> in the search-box and press enter.\n
- Select the user you want to auto-login automatically and then uncheck the box reading \u201cUsers must enter a username and password to use this computer\u201d.\n
- Enter your password when prompted leave empty if none.\n
