The aerial perspective photo composition is about a scene where distant objects in the far distance appear hazier and lighter in tone than when an object is viewed closer.<!--more--> It is most often used in landscape photography to show distance.<\/p>\n<p>Aerial perspective is the atmospheric effect it has on light going through the air. It makes distant objects like hills become a shade lighter. How this come about is due to dust, atmospheric pollutants and minute water particles which scatter the light. The effect of this causes the following to happen to your picture:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Images starts to blur and outline becomes indistinct. There is also a loss in details.\n<li>The tonal range starts to narrow and colours become paler.\n<li>The warm colours tend to be lost while keeping the cooler colours like green and blue.\n<\/ul>\n<p>Different time of the day will create different effect. Early morning from sunrise with misty clouds or late evenings with the sun setting has a pronounce effect and are some of the best times to capture aerial perspective photography. One of the nice effect is getting up early in the morning with mist forming low in an open rolling landscape giving a very cool fresh feeling to the picture scene. Another idea is to have an object silhouette such as tree against a several layers of hill fading over the horizon.<\/p>\n<p>You may need to be at the right spot and wait for the scene to form up itself for you to capture it of you could just happen into while romping around an area with your digital SLR camera at the ready.
