I have not been able to access any Google website including my Gmail since Friday. I thought something was wrong with my Linksys LNE100TX LAN card, but I was very sure I installed the drivers correctly. So I tried other sites like Dogpile, Yahoo, MSN and the pages load up without a hitch.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Finally, the thought came to my mind that perhaps Google website was down. A quick check from Yahoo search seems so with many comments from various site saying <a href=\"http:\/\/www.engadget.com\/2005\/05\/07\/google-down-google-hacked-not-hacked\" target=\"_blank\">Google site is down<\/a>. This was very indeed very unusual.<\/p>\n<p>DOS attack? Server got hack? Who knows? But to have a giant brought down to its knees is unimaginable. The official version from Google was DNS issue.  It tried the DNS given by someone, http:\/\/216.239.37.99\/ nope it didn&#8217;t work either.<\/p>\n<p>Well just have to wait and see what happens.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Could such a thing be possible?
