“How can I convert a CD to an MP3 format?”

Actually it is a very easy process. There are many ways to convert audio CD into MP3 and there isn’t any shortage of free software to do it. If you plan to use your Windows Media Player that came with Microsoft, then just too bad because Microsoft emphasis is on their own proprietary WMA format which I find that not so many MP3 players support it. Microsoft Windows Media Player can play MP3 but their conversion from audio CDs into MP3 do not have so many options. They are geared more to WMA format also. So when it comes to conversion to a compact audio file, better stick to the MP3 format which has a pervasive following. (more…)

Calico Cats

Guess who came a calling? Not any cat but a calico cats variety. It was strange cat behaviour but I believe this calico cat must have been previously owned by someone. It was walking around my house backyard and making loud meowing. If I didn’t know better, it was looking for a home and shelter. Unfortunately I simply just cannot take in any cats due to my wife having very sensitive skin and would result in terrible skin rashes that are very difficult to heal.

Durian Malaysia, the king of fruits. Everybody loves them and many are repulsed by the offensive smell. But once they overcome the strong aroma and get the courage to try it, mmm…, that’s it, they are hooked!

There are so many varieties of durian in Malaysia. So many that I’m not sure which is which. Sometimes the names are in Chinese, sometimes in Malay, sometimes in code, and sometimes it is from the place that it was grown plus the grade that grow there. It is like trying to decipher French connoisseur wines. It is as though a particular durian variety grown in a specific region will yield a different subtlety to it, just like wines. (more…)
