Praise the Lord and the law of attraction

Is it human nature to complaint and murmur? Perhaps that it is so. We can all be very pessimistic about life in general especially when life is giving us frustration sometimes caused by ourselves and sometime by our family members, friends, colleagues and people in authority over us. Taking the example of Exodus of God’s chosen people, they too complaint about their situation to God and Moses for taking them into the harsh condition of the desert, even though they have escaped from their cruel Egyptian masters. Shop-house churches must get permits

This is rather sad state of affairs. Government is using rules and regulations to curb the Churches expansion. The fact was, they didn’t even notify either via the media about passing this new legislation. They quietly passed the bill and could easily wreak havoc by saying all the Churches in shop house are now illegal and they have just cause to close them down, unless they apply for permit. Should the permit be refused by placing all kinds of restriction, then what? Read more »

Let it go

Forgiveness. This seems to be a recurring theme for the past week. My cell was having some discussion about forgiveness; and today I receive in my inbox a pdf file titled, “A letter to the Global Church from The Protestant Church of Smyrna” about the horrific murders on three Christians on the 18th April,2007 in Malatya, Turkey. Keeping the faith for success

Prayers are good. The cry of desperation keeps me hungry for God and for success. Doesn’t make sense, but the Bible did mentioned that it easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. So perhaps what I’m experiencing now for the lack of true success for some of my venture is perhaps God’s way of saying, “Don’t trust in the mechanism of man, but trust in the Lord.” He did release me from an oppressive tyrant. And he did heal my wife’s skin rashes in day when we tried all kinds of medication to no avail. His Spirit was so strong during my Sabah mission trip that people were slain in the spirit when I prayed over them. Read more »

More trouble but gotta keep pressing on

Ouch! My water vending machine was attempted break in again! This will be the second time and the vandals broke my lock again! My home business is not going very well. Coin collection is not up to my expectation. Sheesh. I must be more careful in where I should invest my money. But I did do this out of desperation to find a way out the problem that I was facing from a tyrant boss previously. Sure God has brought me out of Egypt so to speak, but I still need to face the legacy of mess from the decision that I made. I should have been more patient but I was already almost like spiderman climbing up the walls on his impossible demands. Read more »

Overcoming life adversities

Fear is the mind killer. I shall not fear for the Lord is with me. But at times, you do feel the need to know where is God while you going through life challenges. Having gone through it, I know it was a very difficult situation to go through it.

Last Thursday, Janet who was in charge of Children Church together with her husband, Lena and I were making a visitation to family. To the mother actually. We made the decision to visit because her daughters were absent from Children Church for quite sometime now. Read more »

Renewed life

Finally, the AGM is over. It’s been quite a busy few days, especially for my good boss who needed to ensure everything was going smoothly. The president of our company was coming together with the other directors and it would be a shame if something went awry. Though it nearly went wrong this morning as the driver was too exhausted to wake up on time after their late night drinking. Read more »
